            Each additional week: $650

            Tuition Assistance Opportunities:
Eco Practicum strives for diversity among the program participants, and works to make the program accessible to everyone. We recognize that not everyone is able to cover the costs of the Eco Practicum, so we offer a few tuition assistance options - please take a look at each one, and let me know if you have any questions.

            The options are:
            A.  Multiple Student Discount
            B.  Community Sponsorships (see attached documents)
            C.  University Funding
            D.  Payment Plan
            E.  Need-based Scholarship

Each of these are described below, and they can be employed all together to reduce the costs of attendance.

            A. Multiple Student Discount
When 4 students from the same university enroll in the program, each students gets $50 off tuition per week (for a total of $200 savings). To help spread the word at your campus, we will e-mail you a printable flier, or mail you fliers that you can put up around your campus. You can contact professors and departments that can share the info on list-serves and in classrooms, and you can encourage your friends and fellow students to apply.

            B. Community Sponsorships
This is an opportunity to reach out to your community and find individuals, businesses, and organizations that support the work that you want to do. Please see the Sponsorship Request Form. We are also happy to help you set up an online forum to accept donations with greater ease.

            C. University Funding
There are a number of universities, including Yale, Connecticut College, and Skidmore, that provide grants for their students to participate in programs like Eco Practicum. The way to obtain this funding is to speak with your academic advisers, head or dean of your department, professors, as well as the career center. You may want to print out a short blurb about the program, from our website, as well as the detailed syllabus and bring those to the meetings. There is funding out there for students to participate in programs such as these, but you must be proactive in order to identify them.

            D. Payment Plan
The Without Walls Eco Practicum offers a payment method that allows you to pay over an extended period of time. We do not charge interest and there are no extra charges or fees associated with this payment method.

            E. Need-based Scholarship
We offer need-based scholarships for participants who have raised some, but not all, the money they need in order to participate in the Eco Practicum. Financial Aid applications will be made available to applicants upon request, and require the tax returns and W-2's of participants, as well as of their parents/guardians.
