ELIGIBILITY
All university students, recent graduates, and young professionals between over the age of 18 are eligible to participate in Eco Practicum. We accept students from a variety of academic backgrounds, including environmental studies, history, political science, and fine art. Attending or having graduated from university is not a prerequisite for participating in our programs. If you would like to participate in Eco Practicum and have not attended university, we encourage your to apply.

APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Fill out the online application before the deadline (below). The application asks you to enter basic information and two short essays. Please make sure to save your essay drafts in another location and copy/paste into the text box once you are ready to submit. Applications in process cannot be saved. Please contact us in the case of any frustrating mishaps.

2. Once your application is submitted and reviewed, you will be contacted to schedule a phone interview. Every eligible applicant is interviewed; your phone interview will give us an opportunity to get to know you and answer any questions you may have about the program. These last approximately 30 minutes, and you will be asked a series of questions about your interests and your take on the current state of the environmental movement. Please see Deadlines and Schedules below for details on when to expect your interview.
3. If you are applying for financial aid or a scholarship, please see our scholarship application details and deadlines.
4. If you are admitted to the program, you must make your $200 non-refundable tuition deposit within 7 business days, and tuition must be paid in full before your program begins. This is also true for students receiving tuition support through their university or other institution. Essay Questions
- Personal Statement: In 200 words, tell us about yourself and why you're interested in this program. Please include relevant coursework or other past experience (both academic and outside of school).
- Statement of Interest: At Eco Practicum, what participants bring to the table is extremely important. What knowledge would you want to share with your fellow program participants. What are you passionate about, and what do you wish everyone knew about? This does not have to relate directly to the fields of environmentalism and sustainability. (Please keep to 100 words)
